Charles E. Leonard III
Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer
Chuck brings over 35 years of operational, corporate development and corporate finance experience to Peminic. Chuck spent three years as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Solucient LLC, a $100 million healthcare information services company. Chuck served as President of VNU's Marketing Information Services Group from 1990 to 2001 growing company revenues from $70 to $400 million. Chuck began his career with DuPont where he led the commercialization of Tyvek. Chuck has served on numerous Boards of Directors including Solucient, Allrecipes, Innovative Systems and Omnicom, as well as the National Science Foundation Advisory Board. Chuck holds BS and BA degrees from MIT and Middlebury College and an MBA from Wharton.
Cameron Kelley
Chief Technology Officer
Cameron has over 15 years experience in leading technology teams in healthcare and communications environments. Prior to Peminic, Cameron came from Ascension Health where, as its Chief Architect, he was responsible for developing the architectural vision, team, methods and standards. Prior to Ascension Health, Cameron was a Principal and healthcare practice leader with eVergance, a professional services organization. Prior to this, he held a variety of technology leadership roles with Accenture, a major consulting firm, leading large development teams primarily in the communications industry.
Cameron received an honorable discharge from the US Army following service including Desert Storm and was heavily decorated including three Bronze stars. Cameron holds a MS in Computer Science from the University of Memphis, graduating magna cum laude.
Mike Personett
Executive Vice President, Client Service
Mike has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry. His career has focused on the application of technology to improve performance of quality, risk and financial management. His accomplishments have improved identification methods of risk and investments in quality programs. His financial background includes operational analysis of business units, mergers and acquisitions, and risk analysis.
Prior to joining Peminic, he worked as Director of Risk Information Systems for Tenet Healthcare and has extensive experience in managing large scale deployments of risk and quality solutions.
Mike holds a bachelor’s of science in accounting from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. He is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management, a member of the American Society of Healthcare Risk Managers and the Risk and Insurance Management Society.
Chris Ryan
Vice President, Finance & Administration
Chris is a CPA with over 15 years of operational and financial management experience from emerging companies to major corporations. He has been the CFO of both public and private companies and held senior financial management positions with multi-national corporations. Chris has also worked as an auditor for Deloitte and Touche.
Chris holds a Bachelors of Science from Montclair State University and a Masters degree in Business Administration from Fordham University
Bruce Matter
Executive Vice President, Sales & Client Satisfaction
Bruce Matter brings more than 25 years of experience in information systems and technology, most recently at GetWellNetwork where he built a team of seasoned sales professionals to expand strategic partnerships between the company and leading health systems in the United States. Matter brings more than 25 years of experience in information systems and technology, including the position of Senior Vice President at Eclipsys and executive positions with IBM, Cerner, and McKesson. Prior to Eclipsys, Matter was President and CEO of an Internet security company providing vulnerability and technical architecture assessment, intrusion detection, and 24/7 managed services solutions.
Matter holds a B.S. in Business from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri.
Dan Underberger, MD
Founder and Chief Medical Officer
A pioneer in the field of healthcare informatics, Dr. Underberger is equally experienced in enterprise software and clinical practice. Prior to founding Peminic, Dr. Underberger was co-founder of ClinNet Solutions and began his business career in 1995 as Medical Director for Reuters Health Information Services (RHIS). He previously was in private practice as a board-certified Anesthesiologist.
Dr. Underberger earned his medical degree from George Washington University Medical School in Washington, DC in 1986 and continued his clinical work there in Internal Medicine. He completed his anesthesia residency at the University of Arizona Health Science Center in Tucson, AZ in 1990 and was in private practice until 1995.
